Cave of the Crystals

Description:         This relatively unexplored cave is connected to the Naica Mine 300 metres below the surface in Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico. The main chamber contains giant selenite crystals, some of the largest natural crystals ever found. The cave's largest crystal found to date is 12 m in length, 4 m in diameter and weighs 55 tons. The cave is extremely hot;  air temperatures reach up to 136 °F with 90 to 99 percent humidity. Without proper protection, people can only endure approximately ten minutes of exposure at a time.

Hazards: Heat and humidity; darkness; huge, fragile crystals

Difficulty Bonus: +1 for those without appropriate life support

C-130J Cargo Plane

Description:         The adventure favorite is back! Warriors fight in the rear of a C-130J Super Hercules cargo plane in flight at 15,000 feet. And the loading door is opening! Access to the cockpit is impossible. The plane is miraculously large enough for Godzilla sized warriors.

Starting location: Warriors start off in the rear of the plane 10 yards apart. 

Hazards: Gravity

Difficulty Bonus: +4 for warriors that cannot fly  

Offworld Scrapyard

Description:        A small planetoid in the far reaches of the solar system is the final resting place of various broken starships, robots, and extraterrestrial colonies. The planetoid has no atmosphere and gravity equal to just one third of Earth. Some of the junk is quite salvageable. Spacesuits will be provided for warriors that may need them.   

Starting location: Warriors start off 1,000 yards apart. 

Hazards: No atmosphere; low gravity; plentiful cover; dormant technology

Difficulty Bonus: +2 for warriors needing a spacesuit to survive 

Otford Manor

Description:         It is a dark and stormy night. Otford Manor is an old English Mansion in the hills of Kent, just outside of London. The manor is rife with secret passages, creaking doors, and flickering lights. A killer is hiding somewhere in the house. Warriors cannot leave the manor.
 
Starting location: Warriors start off in different wings at midnight.  

Hazards: Low light; limited space to maneuver; hidden killer
 
Difficulty Bonus:  +1 for warriors with no damage resistance

Runaway Steam Train

Description:         This eight car classic steam train is out of control and racing through Utah. When the warriors appear, it is going 101 mph, and it keeps accelerating, and the bridge ahead is out. Of course. Warriors can stay in cars or go on the roof, but if they leave the train for any reason they lose. The train is miraculously large enough for Godzilla sized warriors.

Starting location:   Warriors start three cars away from each other.

Hazards:  It’s a speeding, runaway train; short time

Difficulty Bonus: NO FLYING. Even flying characters are grounded for this one. Get thrown from the train and you’re done for.

The Golden Gate Bridge



Description:         The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate strait, the channel between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World.

Starting location:   Warriors start off 500 yards apart on the bridge during rush hour. One side of the bridge is closed, but the other half has traffic flowing. Warriors may go under, over, and along the bridge, but they may not go onto land.

Hazards: Very narrow battle space; long fall off the side; earthquakes; monsters?

Difficulty Bonus: +2 for warriors protecting innocent lives

Santa's Village at Lake Arrowhead


Description:         Santa's Village was a winter-themed amusement park in Lake Arrowhead, California. Opening more than a month before Disneyland, the 220-acre park was a major tourist attractions. It boasted kiddie rides, including a bobsled, monorail, and Ferris wheel; a petting zoo; live reindeer; and shops that included a bakery, candy kitchen, and toy shop. Somehow, it has come back to life...sort of. The park is fully functional, but the animals are undead.

Starting location: Warriors start off 500 yards apart at midnight. 

Hazards:  Zombie reindeer; unpredictable rides and attractions; overpriced popcorn

Difficulty Bonus:  +1 for warriors with coulrophobia

Hashima Island

Description:         Hashima Island is an abandoned island about 9 miles from the southern coast of Japan. The island's most notable features are the abandoned and undisturbed concrete apartment buildings and the surrounding sea wall.

Starting location: Warriors start off 1,000 yards apart at midday. 

Hazards: Lots of cover; crumbling structures 

Difficulty Bonus: None, this is an even battleground

Bouvet Island

Description:         Bouvet Island is an uninhabited subantarctic volcanic island, the remotest island in the world. Over  93 percent is covered by a glacier giving it a domed shape. The center of the island is an ice-filled crater of an inactive volcano. The island has a marine Antarctic climate dominated by heavy clouds and fog.

Starting location: Warriors start off 500 yards apart at midday. 

Hazards: Intense cold; fog

Difficulty Bonus: +1 for those without appropriate life support

The Redwood National Park

Description:         The trees in this forest are the tallest and one of the most massive tree species on Earth. The largest trees are over 300 feet high and weigh over 1200 tons. They are much too large to move and can provide excellent cover. Local wildlife includes the black bear, mountain lion, bobcat, big brown bat, and northern flying squirrel.

Starting location: Warriors start off 1,000 yards apart on a foggy night.

Hazards: Plentiful cover; low visibility; wild fauna

Difficulty Bonus: None, this is an even battleground.

Death Valley

Description:         Death Valley is a desert in Eastern California. It is the lowest, driest, and hottest area in North America. The hottest air temperature ever recorded was 134° F at Furnace Creek, which is the hottest atmospheric temperature ever recorded on earth.

Starting location: Warriors start off 500 yards apart at midday.

Hazards: Intense heat; dazzling brightness; dryness

Difficulty Bonus: +1 for melee fighters

The Okefenokee Swamp

Description:         The Okefenokee Swamp is a shallow, peat-filled wetland straddling the Georgia–Florida border in the United States. It is the largest "blackwater" swamp in North America. Okefenokee is famous for its amphibians and reptiles such as turtles, snakes, and an abundance of American alligators. It is also a habitat for the Florida Black Bear.

Starting location: Warriors start off 1,000 yards apart at dusk.

Hazards: Abundant cover; wild fauna; muck & mosquitoes
 
Difficulty Bonus: +1 for non-flyers

Crown City Coliseum

Description:     This arena is an elliptical amphitheatre constructed of ultra dense materials. Overhead is a force dome that separates the coliseum from the void of space. Spectators watch from behind transparent force fields atop battlefield walls 20 feet high.
 

Starting location: Warriors enter from doors on opposite sides or the arena, 100 yards apart.
 

Hazards: Lack of cover

Difficulty Bonus: +1 for crowd heat (the warrior that the crowd hates most)
